My Chemical Romance have revealed more information about their soon to be released Greatest Hits album ‘May Death never Stop You’. The album is set to include a previously unreleased song ‘Fake your death’, alongside 2 hours of DVD footage of outtakes from their previous music videos. In a statement the band have said about the album “We hope you take the journey with us into MCR’s past, and enjoy the small taste of what might have been.”

‘May Death Never Stop You’ is due for Release March 24th, and is available to preorder now as a special online package featuring a Tshirt and Funeral Brassard here.

 

Hope is not lost for My Chemical Romance fans as Guitarist Frank Iero is set to release single ‘B.F.F’ which features vocals from his two 3 year old twin daughters Lily and Cherry, which Lily also had a hand in writing.

Iero has said “All proceeds from the sales of this recording will go directly into Lily, Cherry, and Miles Iero’s respective college funds (so no piracy please…you will literally be stealing from a baby).”

The single is available online on 25th February through B.CALM. We sure are interested to take a listen to this one!

We at Elite are getting pretty excited about the new Foo Fighters album. The name and release date is currently under wraps, but one thing we do know is that, in the words of the band alongside a shot of their master tapes on Instagram, ‘It’s Fucking on”. In an interview with Rolling Stone Grohl says:

“It’s badass. We’re doing something that nobody knows about, it’s fucking rad. We begin recording soon, but we’re doing it in a way that no one’s done before and we’re writing the album in a way that I don’t think has been done before.”

It’s been reported that the album will be recorded in no less than 12 different studios, in 12 different cities.
